Our guitars are exclusively handmade from the finest selected materials available. The combination of these materials make each Cuntz guitar a unique instrument that fulfills the needs of each musician individually. It is the skill of traditional guitar making, combined with design and innovation that makes these guitars "one of a kind". The professional demands of sound, playability and finish are reflected in every Cuntz guitar.

Due to the fact that each guitar is completely handmade, it is possible to cater for individual and custom specifications, for example, neck profiles or left handed models, at no extra cost.

Weissenborn-Hawaii Guitar Models and the individual customizing of acoustic, electric and bass guitars are represented in our programme, as well as our very own CWG 23 Acoustic Series.

The CWG 23 Series was developed to incorporate innovative design, optimal functionality as well as a balanced, full sound spectrum combined with traditional guitar building. The design enables the strings to run in a straight line between the saddle and the tuners thus optimizing the string pressure and oscillation on the saddle and ensuring tuning stability. Even our 12-string models use this technique. Cutaway models are optimized by putting an extra shaping in the neck-heel which enables the player to reach any fret comfortably, no matter how high.

Only the best and exclusive woods that have been carefully stored and left to mature over many years are used in these instruments. The guitars are then finished in the highest quality workmanship. Even the interior of the body is immaculately finished and according to our experience, contributes to the resonance and dynamics of the instrument. This seperates Cuntz Guitars from most other guitars on the market today. The workmanship on the bracing (modified X-bracing) enables an optimal sound structure and is made individually to influence volume, tone, dynamics and balance for each instrument.

For all models we have a large number of options available, for example, Mother of Pearl inlays, wood inlays, custom neck scales, custom neck forms and sizes, woods, colours and lacquer finishes as well as diverse pickup systems of your choice.
